Val Thorens will be hosting the Ski Cross World Cup on the 10th and 11th of December.As an Olympic discipline, athletes race down the slope 4 at a time on a course that features bumps and challenging turns - it's a very technical speed race.Val Thorens is the ultimate destination for Boarder Cross. The altitude and the terrain make it the perfect place for the discipline.There is even a dedicated piste for this activity, open to skiers of all levels at certain times of the year, or for high-level training. The resort is also home to champions in the discipline, including: - Chloé TRESPEUCH, member of the French Snowboard Cross team, Olympic medalist in 2014 and 2022. - Jean Frédéric CHAPUIS, member of the French SkiCross team, Olympic medalist, who gave his name to the Val Thorens piste.
